UK Seafood Fund (UKSF)
Defra is expanding the UK Seafood Fund (UKSF) Round 3 to offer grants to improve boats, ports, and health and safety.
This Fund will be open to the catching sector in Scotland, Wales and England. Rates of match funding vary depending on applicant type.

The Fund is open to:
Owners of vessels who are commercial fishers.
Individuals or businesses engaged in commercial fishing that facilitate health and safety equipment or training.
Public bodies or local authorities in a local community that focus on fishing, including trust ports and local authority ports, and public bodies, using funds for health and safety improvements.
Universities or research institutes.
New entrants to the industry that could benefit from knowledge or skills in fishing.
Eligible projects include:
Improved energy efficiency and reduced emissions on vessels
Seeking grant funds starting at £65,000 up to £200,000
Improved infrastructure of ports and harbours
Seeking grant funds starting at £150,000 up to £500,000
Improve health, safety and well-being of the workforce
Seeking grant funds starting at £100,000 for boats or supporting the workforce and £150,000 for ports, up to a maximum of £500,000
