The Welsh and Fisheries Scheme, administered by the Welsh Government, is now open. The smallest project is £500, and the largest is £100,000 with a grant rate of 80% for Small-Scale Coastal Fishermen/Fisherwomen.

Although the new scheme has many hoops to jump through, we have previously had success in gaining access to the funding and the delivery of projects. Projects may be made up of different aspects such as; fish tubs, ice-boxes, and solar panels.

If you choose to proceed, the Fishing Animateur team will act as the agent for your project. This means we can support you in writing and submitting an application, as well as claiming your funding for the project. Please note we have no formal relationship with the Welsh Government. We support under 10m static as a priority and our work capacity is limited. Our decision on whether we can support is final.
